GOODBYE

I wrote my suicide note
Beginning with dear mom and dad, but it seemed inappropriate
For there is nothing dear about them
I tried using Mr and Mrs Alhassan
But that too, didn’t feel suitable
So I just wrote my note, telling them I’m done with life
And they can finally enjoy their lives together
Without me being an intrusion
Then, I hung myself
Freeing me from all the pain.

But little did I know, there ain’t no better place in dieing bitter, sad or hateful
Little did I know my case is better than most
Little did I know If only I held on a little longer
I will have gotten help
I will have found a ear to listen
and a heart to understand and be there for me
Little did I know, suicide is cheap and only transfers the pain.

Suicide is real, life is hard but there is hope and there is always a solution to every problem and issue in life. Kindly seek help if you are depressed or suicidal. Suicide is not the way out.
