I’m not afraid to testify
For my thirst, you satisfy
I was going down the drain
Consumed by my pain
But grace found me! I testify.
Have a testimony filled November. 🥂

This book deals in a step wise manner with what is involved in the pursuit of purpose, from understanding purpose, it’s nature, principles and priority. Each of the twelve chapters of the book builds on the preceeding chapter and throws more light on the essence of purpose. Although I started reading the book with the expectation of having my purpose clearly spelt out by having the book give me distinct keys that point to my purpose; being to become an astronaut for example. I got to discover that devoid of having an understanding of who God is, getting to know my purpose will continue to be a cloudy pursuit.
The book dealt first with righting our relationship with our manufacturer —God— so that we get to understand his purpose for creating us and hence, know what our purpose on earth is. It further exposes the connection between purpose and time, position and vision. And also, the benefits and perils of purpose.
I recommend this book to anyone who is willing to start on a journey of God, self and purpose discovery. I say start because this to me, was like the first step on the journey of these discoveries, giving one the necessary resources to start with as well as propelling one towards understanding and fulfilling purpose.

You have:
Legs that walk
Ears that hear
Eyes that see
Hands that work
Nose that smell
Internal organs that function properly
Mouth that speaks
Yet, you think you have nothing to be grateful for?

Amid life’s uncertainties
Do not be ungrateful
You’re alive and healthy
That’s more than a lot can boast of
The attitude of gratitude
Makes little, feel like a lot
Be grateful for life.

Love, not because you might not get hurt, but because by loving, you will reduce another person’s hurt and yours too.

Quiet resolutions
Resounding actions
Trial
Temptations
Drawbacks
Failures
Quiet resolutions
Resounding actions
Starting over
Setbacks
Restrategizing
Triumph!

Do not be weary
Neither should you faint
Yes, opposition abound
Failures at every turn
Betrayals and name-calling
Yet, these are but for a moment
You’ll have the victory
Faint not, have faith.

Your walls are your signature
The first point of attraction
Exploring beyond the wall
Depends on what’s on the wall
Make your wall beautiful.

Today, Nigeria celebrates 61 years of being together as one big nation in diversity. When I look at the general happenings around, I am tempted to say we’re getting worst of from where we’ve been as a nation but, I’m assured by assurances from scripture that there is hope for a tree even if it is cut down, because at the scent of water, it shall bud again. Therefore, I believe that Nigeria will definitely get better with God’s help and the collective efforts of its citizens.

Another thing that makes today wonderful is that Writers Space Africa-Nigeria just published a short stories anthology in which there’s a story by me titled “DILEMMA,” do download it and let me know what you think about the story. It’s absolutely free, here’s the link.
