
Once upon a time, there lived a hardworking Carpenter. He made beautiful beds, chairs, doors and tables. Very few people patronized him, some said his things were too expensive, others said they were too cheap and below their class.
Years passed, his skill increased and so did his customer base. Those who said his work was below their class couldn’t afford to buy from him because his products were now above their class.
His friends and relatives who had abandoned him in his time of toil and growth now wanted to be associated with him but, he wasn’t keen on welcoming them into his life.
His brother was very proud of him, but never told him. His daughter loved his creativity with the furnitures he made but never told him. His wife wanted to throw a big party to celebrate him but kept putting it off because she was very busy.
A few years later, he died and the eulogies started pouring in…
