Today happens to be Good Friday – A day when Christians worldwide commemorate the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ, thousands of years ago. The significance of this day is so overwhelming as it is the bedrock on which the Salvation of souls is hinged on.
Most times, when I think about it, I can’t seem to comprehend the level of love that Jesus has for me as an individual and the world at large to go through this grueling journey. As the Bible puts in Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” if these isn’t amazing good news, I don’t know what is!

Coincidentally, today is also International Children’s book day – a day set aside to celebrate Children’s books world over. As I thank Jesus for His life changing sacrifice on the cross, I’m also grateful for children’s literature authors who put out wonderful content for Children to enjoy.
Have a blessed Good Friday and International Children’s book day!
