EVOLUTION

For years and years, humans kept evolving, producing things to make life “better”.

Clothes were made to cover our nakedness. Yet, as cloth production increased, so also did rape.

We made houses to protect us from sun, rain, harmattan and other elements, this worked out fine until we decided to build long fences and put locks on the doorsโ€”to protect us from intrudersโ€”then did armed robbery abound.

We made telephones and televisions, to keep us closer to those who are far away and keep us current with news; there, we lost quality time spent with family, sharing each others burdens. We lost:

Peer group gatherings in the village Square.
Tales under the moonlight with our grandparents, siblings and neighbors.

We have come so far, yet we have not really gone anywhere.
